Which Claude Plan You Need, and When
Claude Code runs on a paid Claude plan, and the free plan doesn't include it. The plan is a separate cost from the course, and you don't need one to watch the lessons, only to build alongside them. The cheapest plan that includes Claude Code is enough to start. This guide shows you how to check whether you already have one, and what to watch for once Claude Code is using it.

A Claude plan is a paid subscription on a Claude account, the same one you'd use to chat with Claude.
If you already pay for one, you have what the course needs. If not, this guide gets you subscribed on Anthropic's own site, as long as it sells plans where you are.
